    Our Team is our Greatest Asset We are seeking a skilled and dedicated part-time or full-time Attorney to join our esteemed estate planning law firm in Ventura, CA or Remote. The Attorney will play a pivotal role in providing legal expertise, counseling clients on complex estate planning matters, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional legal services. Responsibilities: • Provide expert legal advice and counsel to clients in all aspects of estate planning, including wills, trusts, probate, and tax matters. • Draft, review, and edit a wide range of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives. • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies, staying up to date with changes in laws and regulations. • Meet with clients to assess their estate planning needs, analyze their financial situations, and develop tailored solutions. • Collaborate with clients to design comprehensive estate plans that meet their individual objectives and ensure their assets are protected. • Represent clients in legal proceedings, including probate court, if necessary. • Negotiate and draft settlement agreements when applicable. • Manage a caseload while ensuring high-quality and timely client service. • Oversee the execution of estate planning documents. • Participate in firm-wide initiatives, including client seminars, workshops, and marketing efforts. • Uphold ethical standards and ensure client confidentiality at all times. • Stay informed about changes in estate planning laws and regulations, sharing knowledge with colleagues and clients. • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance legal knowledge and skills. • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure cohesive and efficient workflow and manage cases according to timelines. Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. • Admission to the state bar and license to practice law in CA. • A minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning law or a related practice area. • Strong knowledge of estate planning procedures, laws, regulations, and tax implications. • Case experience in trust administration, probate, mediation, will contests, conservatorships, and guardianship. • Exceptional legal research, writing, and communication skills. • Proven ability to provide comprehensive estate planning advice and create tailored solutions for clients. • Proficiency in using legal research databases, case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple complex cases and deadlines. • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Proactive and results-oriented mindset with the ability to think critically and problem-solve effectively. • Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor. Compensation: $35 - $50 hourly
