    Our Team is our Greatest Asset We are seeking an experienced and motivated part-time or full-time, Estate Paralegal to join our reputable estate planning law firm, in Ventura, CA. The Estate Paralegal will work closely with our attorneys to provide essential legal support, assist in case preparation, and ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality legal services to our clients. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with attorneys to draft, review, and edit a wide range of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies, ensuring the accuracy and relevancy of information • Assist in the preparation of client meetings by gathering necessary information and documents • Manage and maintain client files, ensuring organization, accuracy, and adherence to filing deadlines • Prepare legal documents for execution, including coordination of notarization and witness signatures • Communicate directly with clients, providing updates on case progress and addressing inquiries • Assist in the planning and execution of client seminars, workshops, and educational events • Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, record-keeping, and document management • Coordinate with external parties, including opposing counsel, court personnel, and financial institutions • Prepare billing invoices, track expenses, and assist with managing client billing records • Maintain the firm's case management system with up-to-date and accurate information • Uphold the confidentiality of sensitive client information and adhere to ethical standards • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance legal knowledge and skills • Collaborate effectively with attorneys, fellow paralegals, and support staff to ensure smooth workflow Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience • A minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience in estate planning law or a related practice area • Strong knowledge of estate planning procedures, terminology, and regulations are a plus • Proficiency in legal research, document drafting, and case management software • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal research databases • Understanding of client confidentiality and ethical standards in the legal field • Team player with a collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills Compensation: $25 - $30 hourly
