IMMIGRATION SPECIALIST, Full Time Position Hermandad Mexicana Nacional with a headquarter office in North Hollywood; California is currently looking for a Full Time Immigration Specialist. Hermandad Mexicana Nacional is a non-profit immigration and services organization. The Board of Immigration Appeals recognizes the organization and the personal is accredited. DUTIES: The Immigration Specialist work under the assistance and supervision of an Accredited Immigration Representative on immigration-related issues such as completing Citizenship Applications, Applications for Permanent Residence, Provisional Waivers, Adjustment of Status, Consular Process etc. Under the supervision of a legal specialist, the selected candidate will conduct interviews with applicants, write reports, complete pending forms, along with clerical work. QUALIFICATIONS: The selected applicant must be bilingual in English and Spanish as well as develop the sensitivity and skills to work with low-income Spanish-speaking immigrants. Likewise, the qualified applicant must have good writing and communication skills, including the ability to interact with people from diverse levels of education and socioeconomic backgrounds. A desirable might also have experience with costumer services. The position would be desirable to somebody who has completed a BA degree and plans to apply to law school. PURPOSE: immigrants seeking citizenship, renewal of Permanent Residence, petitions, Deferred Action and other vital immigration services.
