Responsibilities: • Take ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goals • Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs • Stay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients • Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer’s individual needs • Implement marketing strategies including, but not limited, to cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while simultaneously maintaining a portfolio of current clients Qualifications: • Valid insurance license required or candidates must be willing to get licensed • Candidates must have some computer experience, including the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office programs • Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders • Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma mandatory Compensation: $35,000 at plan yearly plus commissions
