About the Role:
Great Harvest Bread Co. in Herndon, VA is looking for passionate, friendly individuals to join our team as Customer Service Representatives and/or Bakers! Whether you're looking for part-time or full-time work, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a warm, welcoming bakery environment where fresh bread and great people come together every day.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers with a friendly, positive attitude in a fast-paced bakery setting
Take customer orders, process transactions, and handle cash and card payments accurately
Assist in the daily baking and production of fresh breads, sweets, and baked goods
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in both front-of-house and kitchen areas
Stock and merchandise baked goods, ensuring fresh product is always available for customers
Educate customers on menu offerings, ingredients, and daily specials
Support the team during opening and closing procedures as needed
Requirements:
Previous customer service, retail, or food service experience preferred
Baking or food production experience is a plus but not required — we love training enthusiastic learners!
Ability to work early morning, weekend, and/or holiday shifts
Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for hospitality
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one
