Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the fertilization team to ensure the safe and proper application of chemical products and fertilizers for enhancing customers' lawns in Southlake, TX • Collaborate with the General Manager to optimize production efficiency and maintain high levels of customer service through effective scheduling and routing • Work with the Senior Tech to achieve monthly production goals • Identify insects, weeds, and diseases relevant to the job and implement suitable control solutions • Apply fertilizers, pest controls, disease controls, and weed controls to the turf as per the schedule and label instructions • Prioritize personal, equipment, and vehicular safety in alignment with job requirements • Organize equipment and products within the assigned company vehicle • Measure lawns of potential customers accurately to provide cost estimates • Support team members in acquiring lawn care licenses through personalized coaching and guidance Qualifications: • Commercial Pesticide Applicator licensing is preferred, and there is additional compensation for current license holders • The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience working as a commercial applicator during application seasons • Experience in sprinkler systems and repair is highly valued • Ability to function effectively in a team setting and work autonomously with minimal supervision • Must have a clean driving record and pass an internal insurance background check to operate a company vehicle • Capable of working in various weather conditions • Proficient in diagnosing insect and disease issues in the field • Strong team player with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Skilled in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and making sound decisions under pressure • Availability to work full-time from Monday to Friday with overtime opportunities Compensation: $20 - $25+ hourly
