    THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION WITH TRAINING PROVIDED AND OPPORTUNITY FOR ADVANCEMENT.

     

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Training to be provided by QED. Entry level position with opportunity for advancement.
    • Compile submittals on switchgear projects.
    • Keep running list of all projects in submittals that are not released.
    • Send TSO link with submittals to customers, cc: quotes / sales (quotes / sales to follow-up on subs)
    • Send to Quotes/Sales if re-bid/re-sub required.
    • Build job folders & transfer files from Quotes / Sales into project folders for PM's.
    • Update JM BOM with breakouts received, Fill in first two tabs on project spreadsheet(Project Review, PO Review)
    • Manage Switchgear bid list daily in JM. Verify all quotes are completed on time.
    • Responds to requests from customers and salespersons on matters pertaining to the application and operation of various gear projects throughout a region.
    • Assists with the planning and presentation of training programs and other professional growth opportunities for customers and salespersons in the planning, installation and operations of various gear projects.
    • Provides verbal and written quotations or estimates of prices, terms and delivery for standard, complex or non-standard merchandise.
    • Resolves customer order problems and complaints promptly.
    • Prepares correspondence and reports necessary for business transactions.
    • Review plans and specs and determine if there are alternate solutions to suggest to customers.
    • Contact other companies outside of QED to obtain pricing for non QED items. Develop a complete electrical distribution proposal for a project.

     

    MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
    • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to manage/balance many projects concurrently.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
