Job Description

HexaGroup is looking for a motivated and talented Development Associate for one of its clients, a culinary school in Houston, Texas.  This is an internship position with compensation to be discussed based on experience.

His/her first mission will be to work part-time on the following:

• Hands-on dynamic and creative fundraiser responsible for securing new sponsors and income
• Executes fundraising programs including the Annual Champagne & Chocolat Gala
• Develops relationships with donors and expanding the Scholarship’s influence in the community
• Reports to the President of the foundation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a  degree in the marketing or communications fields and some hand-on experience in marketing, communications, and non-profit development and fundraising
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be an excellent writer and copy editor and have a strong eye for detail.
