Requirements
· Sales Experience
· Account Management experience preferred but not required
· Strong Interpersonal skills
· The ability to prioritize and manage several tasks at once
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (mostly word/excel)
Territory Responsibility
Primary duties will be
· Manage Dealer Sales Territory outlined by Sales Manager and President of the company for the independent retail locations in the respective states. These include Hardware stores, Farm & Ranch retailers, Hook & Bullet, Lifestyle stores or Boutiques, and Traditional Men’s stores.
· Travel up to 75% of each month depending on the needs of the territory and time of year (booking seasons).
· Work with existing accounts to book orders twice a year in both spring and fall seasons and provide fill in sales as necessary.
· Identify and maintain a master list of new potential dealers within assigned territory.
· Develop new dealers in existing and new territories.
· Creating and implementing a sales plan to acquire said dealers.
· Implement current dealers and potentials into a “touch” plan: store visits, emails, calls, mailings.
· Participate in Weekly Sales Meetings with other members of the Sales Team and Management.
· Report to Sales Manager and Company President on progress of current business and new business weekly within territory.
· Provide feedback on product development, line plans, and future seasons based on real world knowledge of the retail marketplace and your experience with our retailers and other brands at the retail level.
