ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a customer-centric, results-driven Performance Marketer to lead strategy and execution for our paid marketing initiatives. This includes the management of Facebook/Instagram, Paid Search and Shopping as well as leading the launch of YouTube, Display, TikTok, Pinterest, Podcast, etc. as we further diversify our paid media footprint. As we continue to scale, we will unlock efficiencies in our existing channels while diversifying our channel mix to hit CAC and ROAS goals across our company operated (and franchise) shops and an exciting new launch of a digital product.This role will be focused on driving continuous growth at profitable rates through iterative testing and analysis. Reporting directly into the Director of Growth Marketing, this is a high impact role where you will set a vision and roadmap to take Heyday’s acquisition efforts to the next level. WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Own and efficiently scale Heyday’s digital channels (Paid Search, Shopping, Paid Social, YouTube) by optimizing cost-per-acquisition and ROAS, and by launching new channels
    • Maintain knowledge of digital marketing/media best practices for highly efficient and effective campaigns across channels, with an eye on emerging channels and tactics
    • Successfully translate brand voice and creative expression into content that converts digitally, working closely with creative and content cross-functional teams
    • Actively monitor innovations and changes in the ad tech space and test new platforms 
    • Develop and maintain a performance marketing dashboard, meticulously track pacing to goals and budgets, actioning in real time to respond to business needs
    • Regularly communicate performance insights, test learnings, and acquisition strategy
    • Partner with the Retention Marketing team to leverage CRM lists in retargeting and prospecting efforts, driving improvements in marketing efficiency and effectiveness as well as preparing for future privacy changes

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3-5 years of performance marketing experience at a consumer company or media agency, including at least 2 years of experience managing SEM and Facebook/Instagram ad campaigns (tracking, planning, reporting)
    • Expert level of Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads Manager & Google Analytics knowledge
    • Strong track record of effective collaboration with creative, content, retention and digital product teams
    • Strong project management, attention to detail, and a no-task-too-small mentality
    • Love for both the thrill of early/mid-stage startups and the challenges that come with scaling
    • You stay ahead of cutting-edge trends and channel developments and are not afraid to test them
    • You understand and know what creative components work - copy, imagery, design and have a rigorous and systematic approach to testing these elements
    • You are passionate about education.  Heyday’s true mission is to educate and empower our clients’ skincare routine
    • You’re interested in skincare, self-care, and wellness. You don’t have to be a guru, but passionate for the category and can understand the customer mindset around skincare and self-care

    BONUS:

    • If you have experience with TikTok, Connected TV or any other new emerging channels
    • If you have experience driving new customer acquisition under a subscription and/or franchise model
