    Job Title: Program Director

    Immediate Supervisor: Chief Financial Officer, Chief Executive Officer

    Description: Program Director is responsible for the coordination and implementation of all services offered to clients. The position is responsible for staff orientation, training and supervision. This position is responsible for overall service delivery of clients. This position will require on call services as needed.

    Duties and Responsibilities of the Program Director:

    Responsible for conducting initial assessments if license eligible

    Review all assessments and document the review

    Provide field supervision to all Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHP) as needed

    Conducts training for Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHP) on a monthly basis

    Communication with referral sources regarding waiting list, admission to service, and outcome of service provision and consumer satisfaction.

    Performs quality assurance practices as assigned and according to policy.

    Assist with the hiring process of new employees, disciplinary actions of employees and termination

    Programmatic and administrative supervision of program employees.

    Provide guidance and support supervision for Mental Health Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)s

    Attends FAPT meetings

    Conducts monthly staff meetings

    The Program Director shall initiate any expansion or modification of program activities or the initiation of new programs.

    The Program Director will be available 24 hours for administrative support.

    The Program Director shall ensure that appropriate equipment and supplies are available so the Guiding Lights can adequately function.

    Coordinating the initial assessments

    Program development and implementation of service delivery program policies and procedures assuring that mental health support services comply with federal and state regulatory and licensure requirements.

    Programmatic and administrative supervision of program employees.

    Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities:

    Knowledge of the principles, techniques and practices related to the provision for community based mental health support services.

    Knowledge of casework documentation and requirements to assure compliance with regulatory requirements

    Knowledge of mental illness and therapeutic interventions.

    Knowledge of community resources and entitlement benefits

    Ability to utilize clinical supervision to improve service delivery and documentation

    Successfully complete training in CPR & First Aid, behavioral management techniques

    Education:

    The Program Director will have at minimum a Bachelors Degree in a human services or related field (social work, psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, sociology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, human services counseling or other degree deemed equivalent to those described) and meet the qualifications for a QMHP.

    Experience:

    At least one to two years of clinical experience providing direct mental health services to persons who have a psychiatric diagnosis and substance abuse issues.

    At least one year of supervisory skills and managerial skills
