    Our client is seeking a dedicated, organized, and proactive individual to join our dynamic team as a Field Service Engineer. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining our commitment to exceptional customer service and technical excellence. Your days will be filled with diverse interactions, requiring expert communication skills both in person and digitally, all while contributing to a highly collaborative work environment.

    Role Overview:

    The successful candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced setting, ensuring our cutting-edge equipment operates optimally across various customer sites. You'll connect with customers regularly, articulating complex solutions and promoting a culture of safety and reliability.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Customer Service Excellence: Engage with customers, assess their needs, and articulate complex issues and solutions.
    2. Technical Expertise: Install, commission, service, and troubleshoot our manufactured equipment on site.
    3. Maintenance Monitoring: Habitually monitor and maintain the performance of electrical equipment and machinery.
    4. Problem-Solving: Diagnose and rectify equipment issues on-site or remotely.
    5. Safety Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of materials and machinery, ensuring proper upkeep and safety standards are met.
    6. Educator and Trainer: Instruct customers regarding RF/MW machine operation and safety procedures.
    7. Sales Initiation: Encourage the sales of preventive maintenance services and spare parts to extend equipment lifespan.
    8. Product Expert: Introduce machine enhancements and recommend system upgrades.
    9. Support and Training: Provide exceptional technical phone, email, and video support. Guide customers through troubleshooting processes.
    10. Supervisory Role: Direct and supervise customer on-site technical teams as required.
    11. Reporting: Compose detailed service trip reports and maintain records within our Company ERP system.
    12. Inventory Liaison: Communicate with the Inventory Manager to ensure service parts are well-stocked.

    Qualifications:

    • Academic: Degree in Engineering or a diploma from a recognized Technical School.
    • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in electrical schematic reading and interpretation.
    • Experience: 3 - 5 years' experience with industrial machinery and equipment wiring. Prior work in the field of dielectric heating and as a field engineer will be advantageous.
    • Physical: Capable of lifting parts or components occasionally.
    • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel 75% to 85% of the time, including some weekend travel.
