Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a talented Corporate/Company Accountant to join the AJA team and work closely with one of their largest clients. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys the advantages of being part of a small team and desires a flexible part-time schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the client's Controller to manage their accounting processes efficiently.
- Assist in day-to-day bill pay, categorizing deposits, payroll, and other admin taskd.
- Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field are preferred, but not required.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in an accounting role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Schedule and Compensation:
- Part-time position: 6-8 hour days, 11-24 hours per week.
- On-site with the client two days a week and at the AJA office one day a week.
- Pay: $23-$25 per hour depending on experience.
