• $55,000 plus starting pay. Depending on your experience

Here's how you'd make an impact and be successful:

• Preparing journal entries daily, bank account reconciliations and assisting with month end close
• Assist in preparation and review of payment transactions
• Preparing monthly Financial Packages
• Financial Data Entry
• Filing monthly sales tax reconciliations
• Preparing accruals monthly
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations related to assigned entities. Determine correction entries for reconciling items
• Assist co-team members and internal customers with financial information, responding timely to questions
• Provide the highest quality of service to internal customers at all times

Here's the passion and skills you'd want to have:

• Excellent verbal and communication skills are key as you are reporting directly to the Controller.
• Working knowledge of excel is a MUST
• Outgoing, engaging personality that takes a proactive role when handling accounting situations. Positive and corrective feedback directly to team members in a timely manner is important.
• Strong, general computer skills and competency is needed to navigate Windows operating systems, Sage, QuickBooks, Excel is a must, internet browsers, and other applications.
• Accounting professional with a Bachelor degree working in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Bank Reconciliations who is ready for next step to Staff Accountant
