    Attorney with 5+ years of Civil Litigation Experience Higgins, Hopkins, McLain & Roswell, LLC has a full-time attorney position available now. We are looking for someone with 5+ years of civil litigation experience. Construction defect experience is preferred, but not required. We are looking for someone who can take the lead on construction defect and/or general liability cases. Training and mentorship are provided. Compensation- $115,000+ yearly, depending on experience. Discretionary year-end bonus and billing-based production bonuses available. Responsibilities: • Litigate construction defect and/or general liability cases from start to finish • Communicate with clients and their insurers. Draft motions, conduct legal research, attend court appearances and settlement conferences, take depositions, and handle trials, as experience allows • Supervise and mentor younger associates Qualifications: • Graduation from an accredited law school with a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and licensed to practice law in Colorado • Prior experience working in a civil litigation law firm, 5 years minimum • Experience in construction defect or general casualty law preferred • Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw) • Comfortable working as part of a team, and independently when appropriate • Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required Compensation: $115,000+ yearly DOE
