If the following responsibilities excite you, **we invite you to apply:** • Develop expertise in Colorado state and federal court procedures and rules • Take charge of tracking, managing, analyzing, and organizing discovery, docketing court deadlines, as well as proactively anticipating the needs of the legal team • Draft responses to discovery requests, format pleadings, and prepare complete and compelling timelines and demonstrative exhibits that align with the client’s goals • Prepare for trial, including compiling trial materials, coordinating witnesses, preparing and issuing trial subpoenas, preparing and managing exhibits, tracking responses during voir dire, etc. • Work cooperatively with attorneys to keep litigation advancing in each case; including taking the initiative to regularly update attorneys on the status of cases and quickly alert attorneys to important client and case needs and solutions • Delegate tasks as necessary, both to the attorneys and to our legal assistant team Qualifications: • 3+years litigation experience, construction litigation experience preferred, but not required • Experience with preparing attorneys for trial • Paralegal certificate • Proactive, self-starter who has an understanding of the litigation process in Colorado • Ability to be flexible in challenging situations with changing priorities • Take initiative to anticipate challenges and exercise independent judgment to make sound decisions • Take pride in delivering high-quality work • Ability to be held accountable for meeting individual goals No Recruiters Please Compensation: $65,000+ yearly DOE
