· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine glass type, size, thickness, and installation procedures.
· Measure and mark dimensions of panels on glass or other substrate material for cutting.
· Cutting glass to size and specifications in the workshop and on job site.
· Operate hand-held power tools, such as saws, grinders, and polishers, to cut, grind, and smooth edges of glass substrates.
· Loading glass, mirrors, windows, or store front onto delivery trucks for transport to job site.
· Driving trucks to job sites and unloading materials.
· Removal of old, original, and or broken materials.
· Operation of installation tools and materials.
· Installation and if needed fabrication for new materials.
· Installation of tempered glass, laminated glass, mirrors, store front, glass doors, glass openings, window units, shower doors, and glass instalments.
· Offering a service to residential and commercial in professional manner.
· Offering cut glass to customer for sale at shop.
· Offering window units in stock to customer for sale at shop. (Soon to come)
· Cleaning the job area once job competed.
Verifying job is done correctly the first time and customer is satisfied.
