Maleda Tech is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented High Risk Incident Coordinator to support advanced incident investigations and risk mitigation efforts within a complex digital platform environment.
This role focuses on retrospective analysis of high-severity incidents related to fraud, user safety, and platform integrity. You will evaluate the effectiveness of existing defenses, identify root causes and systemic gaps, and partner cross-functionally to drive meaningful improvements.

Conduct deep-dive, retrospective investigations into high-risk incidents (e.g., fraud, safety, content, listing, and account integrity)
Analyze incident data to identify root causes, patterns, and gaps in existing defenses
Evaluate the effectiveness of current risk mitigation strategies and recommend improvements to prevent recurrence
Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Platform teams to communicate findings and influence system enhancements
Support coordination and tracking of remediation efforts across cross-functional stakeholders
Maintain clear, accurate documentation of investigations, insights, and recommendations
Contribute to internal risk tracking frameworks (e.g., risk registers) and ongoing risk mitigation initiatives
Provide actionable insights to inform policy, product, and operational improvements
Support special projects and ad hoc initiatives aligned with broader risk and safety priorities
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, Risk Management, or a related field (MBA preferred)
5-7 years of experience in Trust & Safety, Fraud, Risk Operations, or incident investigation roles within digital platforms
Proven experience handling high-severity incidents involving fraud, abuse, or user safety
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to perform post-incident/root cause analysis and identify systemic risks
Experience working in cross-functional environments with Engineering, Product, or Platform teams
Proficiency with tools such as Incident.io, Asana, Airtable, or similar project/incident management platforms
Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), including data analysis and automation
Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Slack, Gmail, and Zoom
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify trends across complex datasets
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, operate independently, and drive solutions to completion
Experience in large-scale technology or marketplace environments
Background in roles such as Trust & Safety Analyst, Fraud Investigator, or Risk Analyst
Experience influencing product, policy, or compliance decisions based on investigative findings
Hybrid background combining frontline operations + analytical/investigative work
Exposure to platform integrity domains such as content moderation, listing integrity, or account risk
Start Date: April 21, 2026
Duration: 6-month contract (extension possible)
Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Travel: Occasional (quarterly) onsite meetings in San Francisco
Compensation: $45-$54/hour + benefits
