Summer Math Instructor (High School & SAT Prep) Location: Elite Prep San Jose (In-Person)

Elite Prep San Jose seeks a passionate and knowledgeable Math Instructor to join our team this summer. This role involves teaching high school-level math and SAT math preview courses to motivated students preparing for upcoming academic challenges.

Responsibilities:

Teach in-person math classes focused on Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus, and/or SAT Math concepts

Prepare engaging lessons that preview key skills and problem-solving strategies

Monitor student progress and provide individual support when needed

Maintain a structured, encouraging, and academically rigorous classroom environment

Communicate with the administrative team regarding student performance and curriculum pacing

Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in high school math and SAT Math content

Prior teaching or tutoring experience (minimum 2 years and in-person instruction preferred)

Clear and confident communication skills

Ability to manage and motivate small groups of students

Bachelor’s degree or current college student majoring in math, education, engineering, or a related field

Schedule:

Summer 2025 (June–August)

Weekday availability preferred; class schedule to be arranged based on instructor availability and student enrollment

Location: 1375 Blossom Hill Rd, San Jose, CA 95118 (This is an in-person position.)

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate, based on experience
