About the Role:

Somerset Learning Center is looking for a knowledgeable and reliable High School Math Teacher/Tutor to join our team in Bridgewater/Raritan, NJ. This is a great opportunity to make a difference in students' lives! This position is ideal for a full time math teacher looking to tutor after school, as well as a retired math teacher who wants to continue helping students.

Responsibilities:

Provide individual instruction/tutoring in Algebra, Geometry, and Precalculus

Prepare students for math sections of SAT and other standardized tests (we will train)

Clearly explain math concepts and encourage students

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field

State Teaching Certification in math

2+ Years Prior math teaching experience
