    Position: High School Mathematics Instructor (Part-Time)

    Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate High School Mathematics Instructor to join our academic team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong content knowledge and instructional expertise across a wide range of math courses, including:

    Algebra I / Honors Algebra I

    Algebra II / Honors Algebra II

    Geometry / Honors Geometry

    Pre-Calculus / Honors Pre-Calculus / AP Pre-Calculus

    AP Calculus AB / AP Calculus BC

    Statistics / AP Statistics

    We are looking for an educator who can inspire a love for mathematics while building students’ critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical reasoning skills in an inclusive and supportive environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop and deliver high-quality, standards-aligned lessons that promote deep understanding and mastery of mathematical concepts.

    Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere that fosters student engagement and academic success.

    Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles, including support for students with special needs and English language learners.

    Evaluate student learning through a variety of assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback to guide progress.

    Apply effective classroom management techniques to maintain a focused and organized learning environment.

    Stay up to date with best practices in math instruction and incorporate relevant educational technologies into teaching.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field required; Master’s degree strongly preferred.

    Minimum of two years of successful teaching or tutoring experience at the K–12 level.

    Strong proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and the integration of assessment tools and educational technology.

    Commitment to fostering an equitable, inclusive, and academically rigorous learning environment.

    Job Types: Part-time, Contract

    Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
