Einstein Tutoring partners with school districts and institutions across Massachusetts to provide high-quality academic support to students. Our mission is to ensure that every student receives the individualized attention they need to succeed, including those in special education and behavior management programs. We specialize in homebound tutoring, hospital instruction, and after-school academic support for high school students.
Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and experienced tutors to work with high school students, particularly those requiring special education support or behavioral interventions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with IEPs, 504 Plans, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, or other learning and behavioral challenges.
Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 or small-group tutoring in core high school subjects, including Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies.
• Implement specialized teaching strategies tailored to students with learning disabilities or behavioral needs.
• Support students with executive functioning skills , such as time management, organization, and study strategies.
• Work collaboratively with families, teachers, and school staff to support student progress.
• Utilize positive behavior management techniques to encourage engagement and academic success.
• Document progress and provide reports as required by the school or district.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience working with high school students in an academic setting.
• Knowledge of IEPs, 504 Plans, and behavior intervention strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt teaching methods to individual student needs.
• RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification is a plus but not required.
