Job Title: Private High School Tutor – Carmel Valley (Torrey Pines HS Student)

Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable, experienced tutor to work one-on-one with our 16-year-old son, an 11th-grade student at Torrey Pines High School. The ideal candidate will help him complete daily homework, strengthen English and computer skills, and support him across all remaining high school coursework to ensure academic success and university readiness.

Location: In-person at our home in Carmel Valley, San Diego, CA.

Schedule:

~10 hours per week

2 hours per day, Monday–Friday (flexible timing)

Compensation: $800 per month

Responsibilities:

Provide daily homework support and accountability

Tutor in English (reading, writing, essays) and computer skills

Assist with other high school coursework as needed

Help improve grades and study habits

Qualifications:

Experience tutoring high school students (preferred)

Strong knowledge of English and high school curriculum

Patient, organized, and encouraging teaching style

Must have reliable transportation
