Job Description

Legacy Commercial Property owns over $650 million in commercial real estate in 18 states and is acquiring properties every year. We are looking for an experienced commercial property manager to join our team in Glenview, IL.

Candidates must be attracted to a fast-paced environment where responsiveness and customer service are highly valued. A predisposition towards teamwork and personal responsibility will be critical to a candidate’s success, and an aptitude to analyze operational and financial data. This position will be responsible for 700+ properties within 18 states. This role will also be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Lease Administrator of over 700 tenants

Proficient in property management software (MRI is a bonus)

The coordination and implementation of portfolio specific tenant outreach

Develop and maintain working relationships with tenants and decision makers

Coordinate and assure resolution of tenant issues including utility issues, repairs & maintenance, capital improvement planning

Regularly review receivable reports and take action when necessary

Work with the Property Management Group, Leasing Team and Accounting department

Negotiate tenant’s options at expiration and prior to renewal

Performs other duties as requested by Manager

Network with current tenant base and beyond to facilitate new lease leads

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate property management. Experience in retail property strongly preferred

Experience in the analysis of operational and financial data

Possess strong initiative and organizational skills

Ability to establish and maintain rapport with business community and interact with various levels of professionals via email, telephone

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bachelor’s Degree required
