We are a Central Florida law firm that has been in business for over 30 years. We assist clients with both Veterans’ Disability Benefits claims and Social Security Disability claims.

JOB DESCRIPTION:This position in the VA section of our law firm, is critical in assisting the attorneys directly with writing arguments, preparing files for doctors to review and reviewing client files to provide historical timelines of events. Professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality in regard to sensitive information are all requirements. This position also requires that an individual is apt to identifying deadlines and reacting accordingly to necessary workload adjustments to ensure that files are handled properly and in a timely manner.

• Strong analytical ability

• Average to above average computer skills

• College Degree; Bachelor’s preferred, Associates degree also acceptable

• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

EXPERIENCE IN THE LEGAL FIELD IS REQUIRED.

Individuals who have experience in any of the following areas have proven successful: legal field, medical field, social services, professional writing, claims/case management. In addition, individuals who demonstrate a passion for helping others and a drive for lifelong learning are strong candidates for this role.

The position will be located in Orlando, FL.

Starting salary based on experience and level of expertise: $36,000-$40,000 a year plus the following benefits package after 90 days of employment:

• 85% of individual employee premiums paid for medical and dental insurance
• 60% of total premium paid on family plan for medical and dental insurance, including spouse/domestic partner and or children
• 50% of long term disability insurance premium paid
• $50,000 free life insurance policy
• IRA plan-we will match any full-time employee’s deposits up to 3% of their base salary and bonuses

Required education: Associate Degree or above

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $36,000.00 to $40,000.00 /year
