Hillcrest Staffing is currently working to fill an Escrow Officer & Closing Agent position to join a Winter Park title company that offers excellent benefits and has an enjoyable culture. The role will take the lead and manage a closing team. It requires strong analytical and critical thinking skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Job Responsibilities and Skills -
- Prepare and examine all documents required to execute an effective and flawless closing.
- Examine and resolve any title issues and obtain necessary supporting documentation.
- Examine the closing file for accuracy and conduct an efficient and informative closing with the client.
- Ensure all documents to be recorded are executed according to the rules and regulations of the state of Florida.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment with evolving priorities.
- Light travel for closings may be needed.
Requirements -
- Minimum of one year experience in real estate closings.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Florida Notary.
- Experience with builder closings, O&E reports, construction loans, mortgage refinances, and traditional real estate closings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Qualia closing software preferred.
