Job Responsibilities and Skills –
- Accurately maintain calendar and critical deadlines for case files.
- Assisting with due diligence research and analysis with real estate transactions, title review, loan closings, and government legal work.
- Prepares correspondence, memoranda, and other legal documents, efficiently and in a grammatically correct manner.
- Preparing check requests and reimbursement requests. Entering timesheets, reviewing prebills, and sending out final monthly invoices.
- Organize and manage files, either in electronic or hard copy format.
- Work independently with little supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to identify and prioritize a large volume of critical tasks under tight time constraints established by paralegals and/or attorneys.
- Answer incoming phone calls and redirecting as required.
- Support legal and administrative team, as needed.
Requirements –
- 4+ years of legal office experience.
- Experience in commercial real estate and/or government funding.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
