    Hillcrest Staffing is working to fill an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join a commercial legal team. The position offers 50 work-from-home days a year as well as very competitive retirement and medical benefits.

    Job Responsibilities and Skills –

    • Oversee the creation and handling of real estate transactions from beginning to end.
    • Extreme attention detail and able to present real estate documents accurately and in final form.
    • Experienced in survey review and title review.
    • Capable of creating and negotiating contracts while working inside of pre-set guidelines.
    • Order, draft, review, analyze, and summarize all purchase contracts, related leasing documents, and all other related documents needed for each transaction.
    • Working knowledge of real estate documents, such as the following. Closing statement, deed, transfer forms, bill of sale, letter of intent, title, survey, title policy, memorandum of lease, subordination agreements, nondisturbance agreements, lease amendments, estoppel certificates, etc.
    • Excellent organizational skills. Able to track the progress of all transactions, creating checklists, and logging critical dates.
    • Communicate internally and externally with all parties related to each transaction.
    • Handle all post-closing tasks as well as organize closing file.
    • Provide legal and administrative support, as need, to legal team.

    Requirements –

    • Experienced in handling real estate acquisitions and dispositions for commercial use.
    • 5+ years related experience.
    • Associate degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Paralegal certificate highly preferred.
