POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the achievement of the company’s strategic objective and annual goals through full life cycle recruiting. The recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of sites to source and recruit candidates such as databases, social media sites etc.
- Responsible for all internal and external job postings that build the company’s applicant pool.
- Maintain and manage applicant tracking system and regular follow-up with all candidates through phone, email, or letter.
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Conduct initial phone interview with candidates to assess quality, rigor and fit of the entire company culture.
- Initiate HRIS onboarding process for all new hires, ensuring all compliance tasks are completed.
- Assist with providing educational support to hiring managers on interviewing best practices to ensure compliance to applicable employment laws.
- Explore new recruiting sources, job boards, job fairs, and networks to assist in growing the company’s candidate pool.
- Be a subject matter expert in your area of recruitment through knowledge of market data and strong understanding of Hiller.
- Contribute to Social Media efforts and positively promote Hiller’s brand.
- Develop standardized fulfillment and ad-hoc reports for weekly, monthly or quarterly updates.
- Manage candidate/requisition lifecycle in ATS with highest accuracy and timeliness to ensure data integrity and reporting.
- Identify opportunities for improving candidate experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Recruiting and sourcing experience preferred.
- Minimum 1 year sales experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Familiar with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient with the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Regularly spends long hours sitting and using office equipment (80% of the time).
- Occasionally lift 5-10 pounds.
- Have good visual acuity.
- Occasionally bend or reach to maintain files.
