You’ll greet people when they come in, schedule appointments, take patient histories, collect test samples, and assist with examinations, all while building an excellent rapport with our patients. Responsibilities: • Prepare exam rooms for patients ensuring the room is well-stocked and at a comfortable temperature for the patient and sterilize equipment • Say hello to patients when they come to the office, answer the phone, schedule appointments, and answer inquiries about prescription refills and treatment to ensure patients have a pleasant experience at our office • Provide support to healthcare staff during examination by handing the correct supplies and medical instruments to the physician, position the patient, and assisting with other tasks as needed • Talk with the patient about the reason for their visit and record their personal information and medical history to share with healthcare staff • Document the patient’s vital signs including respiration rate, blood pressure, respiration rate, and pulse and write down the information in their chart Qualifications: • Graduated from high school or received GED • Able to use a computer to complete administrative tasks • Solid communication and customer service skills • Previous experience as a medical assistant performing administrative duties or similar role in a healthcare work environment is preferred • Previous experience working with Woman's Health is preferred Compensation: $16 - $18 hourly
