Job Description

The ideal candidate will be friendly, devoted, curious, and have a strong passion for food with a particular interest in baking and pastry. We are looking for individuals who are confident they will become an integral member of a team that values hard work and brings detail and care to every part of their work day.

• Follow recipes, portion controls, pars, and presentation specifics as set by kitchen management
• Set up station according to established expectations
• Execute production from start to finish. This includes but is not limited to the production and management of all in-house artisan breads, laminated doughs and other baked items.
• Work collaboratively with BOH staff and FOH staff
• Maintain cleanliness of all BOH work areas, including and not limited to refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas
• Conform to Department of Health requirements to run an A-level kitchen

Qualifications

• General knife handling, food safety & sanitation knowledge
• Comfortable working in a fast paced and high energy environment
• High volume restaurant or bakery experience with artisan breads and lamination
• Able to take constructive criticism, learn quickly and constantly improve
• Able to follow recipes without direct supervision
• Strong time management skills and able to execute bread items consistently and effectively
• Full availability (including weekends and holidays)
