The Hilton Charlotte University Place is looking for a Line Cook (PM shifts) to join our Hilton family. Must be able to prep and cook and learn all stations with restaurant and a la carte experience required. Experience with banquets and event execution is preferred, but not required. Responsibilities: • Performs all methods of cooking and portion control in accordance with hotel specifications. • Must have working knowledge of all kitchen equipment including but not limited to; ovens, grills, broilers, fryers, steam tables, mixers, knives, slicers, etc. • Properly uses all kitchen equipment and ensures the proper and safe use of all equipment. • Maintains food line to ensure that all required items are properly stocked. • Continuously stocks and restocks items as needed. • Maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation of all cooking equipment used during specified shifts. • Completes all assigned cleaning functions as specified by the supervisor during a working shift. • Responsible for ensuring that all food is properly handled and stored. • Must wear the required uniform, and must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Extended hours may be required based on business demands for that day. Shifts typically run from 2 pm to 10 pm or 3 pm to 11 pm. Compensation: $16 - $18 hourly
