The Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza is hiring an Executive Sous Chef. Responsibilities: The Executive Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure optimal food service across the property within budgetary constraints. Key responsibilities include: • Supervising the kitchen and overseeing the preparation and presentation of food by chefs, cooks, and pantry personnel. • Managing personnel for all kitchen areas. • Maintaining an adequate supply of all food items, ensuring purchases align with specifications set by the Executive Chef. • Inspecting storage areas to uphold sanitation standards and ensure proper functioning of equipment. • Ensuring sufficient quantities of pre-prepared items are available, stored appropriately, and maintain quality. • Requisitioning only the quantities of items scheduled for use from the storeroom. • Overseeing the proper breakdown of prime cuts of meat, minimizing waste, and ensuring optimal utilization of meat scraps. Qualifications: • Hotel experience preferred. • Chef Manager or leadership experience is required.
