The Hilton Garden Inn and Brookfield Conference Center are searching for a Director of Food & Beverage!

Responsibilities:

Oversee the food & beverage department at Hilton Garden Inn and Brookfield Conference Center

Coordinate Pre-Opening Efforts such as menus, budgets, staffing models, setting up accounts with vendors and ensure all operating licenses and certifications

Plan, develop, coordinate and implement the day-to-day operational activities of the food & beverage department

Supervise food & beverage staff to include recruitment & selection, orientation, training & development, scheduling, counseling, performance management and other employee relations’ issues

Maintain food & beverage product and service quality standards

Order, receive, store and maintain an inventory count of all food & beverage related products

Ensure exceptional customer service and provide services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.

What are we looking for?

College degree or 5+ years of food & beverage, culinary, or related professional area experience

Three years or more in a management position

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to speak clearly and listen attentively

Strong organization skills and attention to detail

Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced setting, effective problem-solving skills

Positive attitude, outgoing and friendly personality

Strong leadership and a professional image
