The Rockford Hilton Garden Inn is hiring both a full time and a part time Line Cook to work evenings!

  Responsibilities:

 Set up equipment and prepares food based on the business forecast and catering contracts

 Prepare salads, sandwiches, coldand hotfood entrees and other prepared foods according to portion and quality standards specified in recipes

Possess complete knowledge of menu and recipes, including preparation procedures, plating, garnishment, portions size and presentation and special handling instructions

 Ensure attractive presentation of all food and beverage products

Assist in ordering, receiving, and storing of all food and beverage related product

Assist the Food & Beverage Manager and banquet staff with catering events

What are we looking for?

Availability to work 4:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Two or more years of line cook experience

Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills

 Strong attention to detail and organized

 Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced setting

 Reliability and honesty

Teamwork and cooperation
