    The Hilton Garden Inn/Ayrsley is seeking a Full Time Food & Beverage Supervisor

    The Food and Beverage Supervisor will manually set up, break down, and service all meeting rooms, banquet events, and accompanying storage areas as well as help bar back, food run, cook and assist in all aspects of the bar and room service. Must be highly flexible among scheduling; available to work PM hours (afternoons/evenings), and be available any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

    Duties include but are not limited to:

    Communicate with the Manager before shift to be aware of the work.

    Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the Banquet Event Order and the guest.

    Host events: Supply and replenish meeting rooms with various food and beverage items throughout the event.

    Assist with Bar service i.e. help make drinks, clear dishes, talk to guests, run food, bus tables etc

    Maintain all aspects of room service, take room service calls, prepare orders and deliver to guests.

    Make sure all areas of storage (cabinets, closets, storage rooms) and meeting rooms are clean and organized before the end of the shift.

    Work bartender shifts, cooking shifts and other F&B related shifts as needed.

    Perform any variety of tasks to aid and assist all areas of Food and Beverage

    Perform PM (night) MOD duties

    Performs other duties as required within the scope of responsibility.

    Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management/Restaurant Management preferred or equivalent experience; two (2) to three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of food service operations and a variety of styles of services.

    License/Certification: Must be able to obtain any/all locally required licenses/certifications that relate to the job being performed such as TIPS or ServSafe food safety certifications. A valid driver's license is preferred.

    Supervisory Responsibilities: This position supervises all hourly employees in the food and beverage operation and is responsible for assisting in the administrative tasks related to.

    Language Skills: Must have good working knowledge of the English language - ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and other employees of the organization
