The Hilton Garden Inn Orlando North Lake Mary is currently hiring a Chief Engineer. In this role, you will be a "hands-on" leader supporting the overall maintenance and condition of the Hilton Garden Inn Orlando North Lake Mary. Responsibilities: The Chief Engineer will oversee all property maintenance operations, including capital projects. The Chief Engineer will report to the General Manager. Our ideal candidate should be a hands-on manager with strong MEP experience, with a focus on HVAC.Ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of all phases of hotel engineering - plumbing, electrical, HVAC certified, certified in boiler maintenance, preventative maintenance, etc., and will be able to effectively delegate work and tasks to subordinates to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel. Must possess excellent time management and organizational skills. Qualifications: • Previous Chief Engineer or similar experience in a hotel is required - a minimum of two years.
