    Job Description

    Our client , a leader in their industry, is seeking a bilingual Senior Benefits Analyst in The Woodlands, TX. The Senior Benefits Analyst is responsible for planning and carrying out the operations of group benefits programs. They will also provide excellent customer service and provide analytical and technical support in the delivery of benefit programs.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Coordinate and manage benefits to include enrollments, COBRA, terminations and life event changes.

    · Provide customer service support to internal and external customers and works closely and consults with vendors and brokers to ensure resolution of issues as needed.

    · Serve as contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators to oversee file feeds and deductions to plan vendors and work internally with Accounting and Payroll.

    · Suggests and implements creative, innovative, and fresh perspectives on benefit programs.

    · Participates in the review and management of benefit policies and ensures compliance.

    · Provide recommendations regarding department processes to increase efficiency and continual audit.

    · Oversees disability and leave of absence programs and monitors line of communication with the employee, HR and vendor to ensure process is seamless and provides redirection as needed.

    · Responsible for initiating invoices for premium payments.

    · Participates in orientations and open enrollment meetings.

    · Supporter and enhancer of a team based, collaborative culture.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    · Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or a comparable combination of education and benefits experience.

    . Bilingual

    · Thorough understanding of benefits principles and practices, including compliance/law.

    · Extensive experience with HRIS systems required.

    · Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

    · Experience managing large scale benefit program change projects and program rollouts.

    · Demonstrated effectiveness in a fast paced, change-oriented work environment.

    · Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.

    · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in one-on-one and group situations, with the ability to effectively work within all levels of the organization.

    · Creative, flexible and innovative team player.
