    Your opportunity: Controller (Agriculture)

    Controller (Agriculture)– Your Job Duties

    In this role, you will provide all financial and operating information related to the agricultural supply chain area of the company.

    Accounting

    • Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and budgets for Cal Sun and Lucero operations.
    • Prepare Quarterly and Annual Financial Statement packages
    • Prepare budgets, forecast and financial statements for several operations
    • Maintain timely reconciliation of key GL accounts (Balance Sheet and Income Statement)
    • Ensure assets and inventory are maintained and tracked within and among entities
    • Help grow our culture of self-management incorporating the use of key information to drive financial accountability and ownership.

    Financial Analysis

    • Analyze all operating and financial information to identify opportunities for operational improvements and communicate results and findings with others
    • Partner with operating colleagues to develop budgets for operations and financial performance, and to perform periodic Business Unit reviews
    • Review all Cap Ex proposals and work with relevant colleagues to identify savings opportunities and calculate return on investment.

    Controller (Agriculture)– Required Skills, Experience & Fit

    • Self-directed and self-motivated – you are in charge of your career and propelling impact
    • Business savvy – you understand how the numbers and financial statements drive operations
    • Degree in finance, accounting or related work experience
    • Understanding of financial statement packages and cash flow analysis
    • Comfortable and successful communicating with cross-department leaders to understand business needs and develop meaningful KPIs, including providing recommendations
    • Experienced with MS Excel at an advanced user level (V-Lookups and Pivot Table experience)

    This role is located in office (Woodland or Los Banos, California).

    Compensation salary exempt, DOE, plus annual bonus potential.
