Human Resources (HR) Manager – Your Job Duties
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of Human Resources tasks, from compliance and documentation to employee relations, working with employees from manufacturing to production to back office.
- Perform onboarding and offboarding for employees.
- Perform workplace investigations, documenting the process, findings and ensuring personnel files are accurate and matters have been addressed.
- Ensure all human resources documentation is up to date, including annual handbooks, company notices, compliance items and required notices.
- Employee relations – keep a pulse on employee engagement and satisfaction, working with the team to implement initiatives to support employee satisfaction.
- Assist with annual health insurance renewals.
- Translate HR documentation into Spanish as needed.
- Audit compliance across various departments to ensure compliance with applicable Federal and State laws.
- Document management – ensure HR and personnel files are up to date.
Human Resources (HR) Manager - Required Skills, Character and Prior Experience
- Bilingual Spanish – must be able to read, write and speak fluently in order to engage in employee relations conversations and conduct workplace investigations in Spanish
- Self-directed and self-motivated – you structure your days effectively to deliver results without direction or oversight
- Experienced in Human Resources, including documentation, research and compliance / you are well rounded in Human Resources
Human Resources (HR) Manager – Desired Qualifications:
- Experienced with manufacturing or agricultural companies
This role is located in office in Los Banos, California. Compensation salary exempt, DOE, plus annual bonus potential.
