This is a part-time, live-out position with a four to five day per week schedule, 3:30pm - 8pm, with flexibility for extended hours and weekend days as needed. The ideal candidate will be willing to work full-time hours over the summer, is a confident driver, and is comfortable around dogs. The family seeks someone proactive, communicative, and efficient to contribute to the congenial atmosphere of their home while working alongside a team of household staff. Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to: - Assisting in the daily care, nurturing and supervision of the family's children - Creating and engaging in age appropriate developmental activities; supervising outdoor activities - Coordinating daily activities and supervising transportation to and from appointments, activities, etc. - Light tidying up, cleaning and laundry duties for the child - Candidate must seek to create a playful, caring, safe, and inspiring atmosphere for the child - Additional Nanny responsibilities and duties as needed and requested by the principals Requirements: - Strong command of English language; superior communication skills both written and verbal; fluency in Spanish or French a plus - Excellent references required from both current and previous employers - Minimum 3 - 5+ years related experience working in a private home as a Nanny - 4 year degree from an accredited College or University or currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree is required - Knowledge of general First Aid and certification in CPR - Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; excellent judgmental and multitask management skills - Valid Driver's License is required - Valid passport, willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as needed - Legally able to work in the United States
