    G&A Partners, a Houston based Professional Employer Organization (PEO) and HR Outsourcing firm is hiring a full-time Human Resources Assistant / Coordinator for the western region office in South Jordan, UT. The new HR Assistant will work closely within the Human Resources team providing HR services to small and medium sized businesses in a wide variety of industries and in several states.

    The HR Assistant supports the day-to-day HR administration for our clients: small and medium sized businesses in Utah and surrounding states. The ideal candidate will easily switch between a wide variety of tasks and balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. 

    Responsibilities 

    • Assist with all general administrative functions within the Human Resources department, such as entering data into HRIS, mail, faxing and filing. 
    • Process and review employment documentation to determine employment eligibility (form I-9 and E-Verify). 
    • Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, direct deposit, new hire and job title and department /division transfers. 
    • Prepare reports. 
    • Other duties and projects as assigned.  

    Position Minimum Qualifications 

    • Minimum of 2 years office experience highly preferred.  
    • Previous HR experience desired.  
    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and perform well in a fast-paced environment.  
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and changing deadlines. 
    • Ability to work well with other members of the team and provide support willingly. 
    • High level ability of accuracy and attention to detail is required. 
    • Intermediate computer experience, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required, with the ability to learn quickly. 
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 
    • Self-motivated and able to perform job responsibilities with a minimum of supervision.
