    We are looking for a new team member to join our team as one of our Transportation Dispatch & Logistics Coordinators. This role is a fast-paced position overseeing transportation dispatch services. You are juggling numerous moving parts of the equation at any given time and must be able to problem solve quickly, be great with details, and have excellent communication skills. The ideal person for this role would see problems that may arise as “opportunities” not as “frustrations,” and are excited to meet the challenge!

    Additionally, the right person for this role would be tech savvy, adaptable in high stress situations, and has excellent follow through skills. We strongly prefer someone with industry experience, but are willing to train the right person who has natural problem-solving skills, is a quick learner, and has a “go-getter” personality.

    Duties of the Role Include, but not limited to:

    • · Coordinate third party transportation shipments and deliveries
    • · Use various apps and software to schedule routes, mange/calculate loads, coordinate arrivals/departures
    • · Manage relationships with clients and vendors, including managing a high volume of emails daily (potentially 3000+ a day).
    • · Problem solve issues, such as delays, etc.
    • · Maintain working knowledge of regulations and other relevant rules/laws
    • · Research, and other planning & organizational duties as required

      Required Experience:

    • · Must have strong background customer service experience
    • · Any experience with transportation logistics, dispatch, shipping, project management experience is highly preferred, but not required
    • · Must have strong computer skills, be tech savvy, easily able to learn and operate numerus software applications at once.

       

      Hours & Compensation:

      Full-time, Monday – Friday, usual hours are 6:30am – 4:00pm, with one on-call week every 7 weeks.

      Starting Salary range is $43,000 - $50,000, depending on your experience. There is a $3,000 raise opportunity at 90 days, with further options for regular raises after that. Additionally, there are significant monthly bonus opportunities after 90 days, and possible quarterly & annual bonus opportunities, as well. We offer Health Benefits & Paid Time Off.
