This role will work closely with our Director of People & Culture and will support our teams as we rapidly build our success and growth.
Overview:
In this role, you’ll report to the head of People & Culture. You’ll support the team in all areas of HR, and in areas that aren’t traditionally HR functions.

The HR Generalist is responsible for the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including processing payroll, administering benefits, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding/offboarding, and enforcing company policies and practices.
You’ll work on all the things. You’ll learn along the way.
What you’ll do:
- Support the team in all areas of HR (and some areas that aren’t traditionally HR).
- Create and maintain files, documents, spreadsheets, process documentation, and systems related to People Operations.
- Ensure a positive People experience, from hiring through to offboarding.
- Coordinate timekeeping, payroll, benefits administration, HRIS, engagement, retention, training – all things HR.
- Communicate professionally and effectively.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting.
- Own new hire orientations/onboarding. Create a great process that gets people excited about being on this amazing team.

- You can see the forest and the trees.
- You have experience with various systems HRIS, talent management, payroll, etc. and can learn new tech quickly.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, and you know a thing or two about GSuite.
- You're flexible, and not afraid to work hard. We have teams on both coasts, and sometimes meetings before 8:00am or after 5:00pm.
- You're comfortable working virtually using Zoom and other web-based productivity and communication tools.
