    A small corporation is looking for a new Office Manager/Bookkeeper to oversee the day-to-day bookkeeping & administrative duties of their three small sub-companies. This versatile role is responsible for the property management of a small building, for the general office support & bookkeeping of a 15-person, high-end, Logistics company, and for the bookkeeping support of a small trucking brokerage company that is in the start-up phase.

    It may sound like a lot, but for the right person, with great organizational skills, things go smoothly in our friendly and supportive environment. The ideal person for this job would have accounting experience, including AP/AR duties. This role also closely supports the Executive Management with general office duties, so being very organized and great at creating efficient systems will be very valuable. Additionally, having strong communication skills to work with vendors, building tenants, and provide customer service are also critical to the role. This dynamic position is a great fit for someone who is upbeat, likes to be busy, enjoys working independently, and is solution minded.

     

    Duties Include, but not limited to:

    Property Management:

    - Collect rent payments

    - Manage leases

    - Handle tenant issues

    - Arrange maintenance and repairs

     

    Office Management:

    - General Office Support for the CEO & COO

    - Manage Electronic Documents & Filing

    - Create Systems & Procedures

    - Occasionally Direct Phone Calls

    - HR Duties, like new employee paperwork, etc.

    - Perform other office tasks (replenish office supplies, distribute mail, custodial duties, etc.)

     

    Bookkeeping:

    - AP & AR, sending invoices, paying bills

    - General Ledger Reconciliation

    - Payroll

    - Vendor Management, including 1099s

    - Support outside Accountant with prep for taxes

    - Cash Management, Banking Duties

    Desired Experience Includes, but not limited to:

    - 3 to 5 years of experience Bookkeeping required

    - Office Management or General Admin Assistant experience required

    - Experience directly supporting Executive Management preferred

    - QuickBooks software experience required; Online version highly preferred

    - Property Management experience preferred

    - Being a notary would be a plus

     

    Hours & Pay:

    Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm, Starting salary range is $44,000 - $52,000 DOE, plus healthcare benefits (start 90 days from start day), paid holidays.

    We have a business casual environment, where you will have your own office space. After training, there is some work from home flexibility during the pandemic.
