Job Description
Our international client provides remote assistance solutions that accelerate the digital transformation of their customers, primarily medical and industrial organizations. The Technical Account Manager is the liaison between customers and the team, ensuring flawless execution of projects. As the technical expert, the TAM is the key contact for clients regarding all aspects of the deployment of the solutions.
The Technical Account Manager is a full time, direct hire position based in downtown Raleigh and requires up to 40% travel in North America. Occasional international travel may also be required. This position offers a competitive base salary and benefits. There is no sponsorship or corp to corp arrangements available for this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TECHNICAL ACCOUNT MANAGER:
· Follow up and prepare sales deployments: assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
· Prove customer training remotely or onsite
· Provide technical support to our customer, analyze queries, and provide relevant support and escalation if needed
· Assist sales team with post sales activities
· Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
REQUIREMENTS OF THE TECHNICAL ACCOUNT MANAGER:
· 5+ years of experience in a similar high tech B2B environment
· Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent experience
· Excellent client facing and internal communication skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multitask
· Ability to build sincere lasting customer relationships
WORK IS GENERALLY PERFORMED IN AN OFFICE ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH THERE IS ONLY MINIMAL EXPOSURE TO UNPLEASANT OR HAZARDOUS WORKING CONDITIONS. MUST HAVE AN ABILITY TO SIT FOR LONG PERIODS THROUGHOUT THE DAY. MUST BE ABLE TO USE A TELEPHONE OR HEADSET EQUIPMENT. THE INCUMBENT MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM WORK AT A COMPUTER TERMINAL FOR 6 TO 8 HOURS A DAY, FUNCTION IN AN ENVIRONMENT WITH CONSISTENT INTERRUPTIONS, AND IN RARE CIRCUMSTANCES, LIFT 20 LBS. THE WORK MAY BE STRESSFUL AT TIMES AND DEMAND THE ABILITY TO HIT THE KEY DELIVERABLES FOR THE ROLE.
