    Job Description

    Position: T2 Web Developer Location: New York, NY, 10013 Duration: 6 months + extension  

    SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, the Web Developer for the Test and Trace Corps Communications Team will be responsible for both the front-end and back-end management of the Test and Trace Corps website, building webpages with WordPress page builders and themes and updating, enhancing and maintaining existing websites and plugins. The Web Developer will be responsible for: • Working closely with the Test and Trace Corps Communications team to align web content with campaign goals and develop engaging graphics and web design. • Collaborating with Test and Trace Corps Communications team, leadership, and Central Office Communications team on daily website maintenance and implementing updates • Developing and managing landing pages, designing and implementing public/patient-facing websites (WordPress), designing external HTML email communications and the related. • Coordinating with NYC H+H information technology staff to maintain and manage the NYC H+H Test and Trace Intranet site content.   • Assisting in the development and design of e-newsletters, presentations, and other graphic communications. • Troubleshooting website problems • Monitoring website traffic and providing monthly analytics reports • Related communications-related duties may be assigned, as needed SKILLS: Min 2 years exp   

    • PC and/or OS operating systems • Microsoft Office suite • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) • Graphic design and/or video editing software a plus • Familiarity with online website builders like WordPress • SharePoint EDUCATION: • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in web developing or similar field (PREFERRED) • 1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, Marketing or an approved related discipline; and, • 2. Four years of public relations experience involving the press and communications media, employee communications, community affairs, educational affairs, public information, corporate and business affairs, governmental and legislative affairs; or, • 3. A satisfactory equivalent.
