    CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT + CHANGE ENGINEER

    INTRODUCTION

    In this position you will be part of the team that integrates a wide variety of Hardware, Software and other configuration items into one system that performs at a specified level, and is released as verified system configuration to manufacturing and service.

    JOB MISSION

    The Configuration Management Engineer defines and maintains the overview of all TMM (Top Mini Machine) configurations that are relevant during the integration. A candidate can expect to be involved in both a functional view and a physical view, including their relation to the sequence view. This individual also helps to define the optimal configuration/upgrade strategy to achieve verification and release of these system configurations, and takes part in execution of this strategy together with various stakeholders.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Defines and owns the Configuration Management (CM) strategy based on valid system configurations and the derived upgrade paths of TMM (Top Mini Machine)

    • Keeps the CM contents and strategy aligned with all stakeholders (product SE, System integration project leads & System Integration Product cluster manager, Change Specialists, Logistics, Manufacturing, Service)

    • Draft specification of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tooling structures to implement CM strategy for usage in corporate configuration and change management processes

    • Contribute to the Integration strategy (PERT), the sequence verification, and the integration planning

    ​EDUCATION

    BS in engineering majors (Master degree is preferred).

    EXPERIENCE

    1-3+ years in a technical environment, preferably on machine development/integration involving configuration/upgrade aspects Configuration Management Certified (CMII)

    PERSONAL SKILLS

    • Analytically strong, enthusiastic, flexible, assertive, proactive, structured;

    • Ability to interface/cooperate with different people on different organizational levels, work with local sites as needed.
