The Backend Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, testing and deploying the On Location Experiences online digital products available for millions of users online.

Who You Are:

• BS in computer science or a similar field
• You have 5+ years of experience in backend development of large-scale online projects
• You have Experience with: JavaScript (node.js), serverless, GraphQL and databases like MySQL, Cognito
• You have experience working in fast-paced growing teams in agile environment  
• You have strong knowledge of web, security, and networking protocols
• You have experience with security tools such as intrusion detection, log analysis, and network scanning
• Highly proficient in design and analysis of algorithms and data structures
• Highly organized, strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly proficient with cloud-based computing/infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Experience with agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) and project management tools (JIRA, Asana, etc).

What you’ll do 

• Architect, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security
• Evolve software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all team deliverables 
• Write high-quality software
