    Job Title: Duck Creek Billing Developer (P&C Insurance) Location: Napa, CA (Hybrid) Duration: 4–6 Month Contract

    Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Duck Creek Billing Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and configuring solutions within Duck Creek Billing, including billing workflows, invoicing, payment plans, commissions, collections, and overall billing lifecycle management.

    The role requires strong expertise in Duck Creek Billing configuration, including Manuscripts, Rules, and Product Studio. Candidates should have solid technical skills in .NET/C#, SQL Server (advanced queries and performance tuning), and experience working with XML/XSLT.

    The candidate must have experience in developing and supporting integrations using REST/SOAP web services, APIs, and batch processing/job scheduling. Strong knowledge of integration patterns between Billing, Policy, Claims, and external payment systems is essential.

    Additionally, the role involves data mapping, data migration, and integration with legacy systems. Experience with source control tools such as Azure DevOps and Git is required.

    A strong understanding of P&C insurance billing processes, including billing cycles, agency commissions, payment plans, installments, collections, refunds, adjustments, and compliance requirements, is critical.

    The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities, and the capability to work independently as well as within agile teams. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
